How Does Dolutegravir 50 mg + Lamivudine 300 mg Work?

Dolutegravir is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor that blocks the HIV integrase enzyme, preventing the virus from inserting its genetic material into human cells. Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor that blocks the reverse transcriptase enzyme needed for viral replication. Together, these medicines stop HIV from multiplying, reduce the viral load, and help protect the immune system.
