How Does VORICONAZOLE 200 mg Work?

Voriconazole 200 mg works by blocking the fungal enzyme 14-alpha sterol demethylase, which is required for the production of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By reducing ergosterol production, voriconazole damages the fungal cell membrane and prevents the fungus from growing and multiplying.
